All hope isn't lost against Cincinnati

Sean Smith is coming back and Andy Dalton has the propensity to shit the bed at the most inopportune times.

It's a one game sample for crying out loud. They lost to a terrific team and QB on the road.

I think the chiefs are a mediocre team. But over two years, they almost always keep games close. I'll take that longer sample versus overreacting over a bad game.

We lost that follow up game @ Denver by a TD. We had a shot at a TD from within the 10 yard line. We didn't get embarrassed that game.

I wonder what the winning % is in the NFL for the 2nd game when you've got 2 in a row on the road? I bet it's not good.

Anyone who watched the return of Cassel on Monday night has good reason to believe we're going nowhere. Our QB is one full fetal away from being boo'd out of Arrowhead stadium, which Eric Fisher will find "dithpicable"

GB has nothing to do with why people are down on KC. It's our QB that is the problem.

The Cincy blowjobs need to end.

2014 Bengals through 3 games: 3-0, 80 points scored, 33 allowed. Gets raped by New England following MNF embarrassment.

2015 Bengals through 3 games: 3-0, 80 points scored, 56 allowed. ? vs. KC after MNF embarrassment.

It'll be a game.

You remember the game differently than me. We got dominated all game. Denver put on the brakes and KC snuck up at the end. KC dominated Houston but Houston had a shot after the chiefs pumped the brakes. Green Bay only beat us by 10 even though it was an ass whooping.

The point is that the chiefs played unbelievably bad football for 7 straight quarters last year.

Skip Bayless just said the Raiders would get to 10-6 at 2nd in the division. That bodes well for KC and SD, as Skip is a total jackass.

That's because you're a slow learner... I have a different opinion. We'll just see who is right.

A QB who has been for three years and has kept almost every game we've played within about 7 points.

I hate Alex Smith as our QB. But just as you're not going to improve him overnight, you're also not going to shatter him overnight. He will probably play his usual 9-7 self Sunday which is good enough to keep us in the game. I don't think it will be a blowout because the chiefs rarely get blown out, let alone back to back games.

GB took the foot off the gas at the half.

They played prevent defense and stopped being aggressive on offense or they could have scored 70 on us.

yep.

i think people have quickly forgotten the game and are more looking at the final score and thinking it's not 'as bad' as they remember. It was. it was an thorough ass pounding by GB. GB let off the gas for sure from about mid 3rd QTR through the end of the game. They knew we wouldn't come back....we would just eat up time with our dink and dunk bullshit, so they were fine with it.

I don't think cincinnati is anything more than above average. However I think they're much more physical than kc and I think that will show. Kc looks like a team that doesn't like getting hit. They don't respond to it from what I've seen so far.

I'm not sure, man. IIRC, we had one drive that lasted like 10+ minutes and Knile ended up having 30 carries.

I'll agree that the Packers let off the gas while, although the score indicates we made a late surge, we never truly had a shot at winning that game. But we were knocking on their door in Denver that year. If Alex didn't shit the bad on a pass to Bowe in the end zone, who knows, we may have won that game ( I doubt it but I'm saying that game was MUCH closer than the Monday nighter in GB).

Green Bay let off the gas?

They were throwing bombs while up by 24 late in the 3rd.
