All hope isn't lost against Cincinnati

Sean Smith is coming back and Andy Dalton has the propensity to shit the bed at the most inopportune times.

He's not a good QB and he's scared.

Why are guys so frightened of the up and down Bengals? They h have had stretches like this the last FOUR years. Melting down after losing at Lambeau is dumb as **** and that's sad for this place which went full reerun years ago.

Alex, my friend.

They might win, but it doesn't matter.

In the end there is no hope.

I don't think that anyone is "scared" of the Bengals.

But how anyone can look at this team over the course of the last dozen games or so and think "Yeah, Cincy is a win" is delusional.

Alex looked bad in the last four games he played in 2014, awful in preseason and atrocious two weeks straight on national TV.

Expecting him to pop of out his shell and suddenly become 2012 Alex is a bit ridiculous.

Smith isn't playing scared. He just isn't a very good QB.
Oh, bullshit. I've seen him make some damn nice throws over his career. He can do it when he chooses to. He so damn scared of losing his job he takes zero chances at this point.

The Chiefs are in melt down mode. How they lost the Denver game put them there. Not being the slightest bit competitive at Lambeau against the Packers is merely a symptom. This team is going nowhere.

Hope would be a severely pulled groin for the nutless QB behind center

This.

How they lost to Denver is telling as is laying down afterwards. Soft is exactly what they are. BAD QB with a BAD OL, that brings out the worst in each. This is year 3 of Reid. This team is going backwards.

It's really a shame, too.

Smith's got ideal size, great speed, 10+ years of league experience, and a just-good-enough arm. His limitations are completely mental.

This guy should be dropping bombs on your moms at this point.

I am talking about the idea that he's scared to get hit. I agree the guy doesn't throw in tight spots at that to me is the biggest problem with our ol. He has to hit receivers before their break, not after they're comfortably open. Until that happens, his release is way too slow

Has nothing to do with THIS team, but I get your point. I remember when the Bengals beat them ion 2003 to end the 9-0 streak. Again, has nothing to do with this team, but...

Nothing sadder than wasted talent.
