Yep, we finally don't have to worry about Choate blowing a game and now we got Broxton to replace him to blow games.

If your elbow is messed up, it would seem to effect his batting too.

No way Jay starts over Pham. Jay didn't have hardly any playing time at the end of the year.

Pham has speed. Not Bourjas speed but what player does?

He can pinch run, RH bat off the bench, defensive player in late innings when Holliday comes out. He has way better value to the team than Jay. But to be fair I've hated Jay for a long time.

Cubs just signed top international prospect Eddy Julio Martinez for $3M after the Giants deal fell through. I seem to remember this guy commanding like 10 times that at the beginning of the signing period according to the media.

Would rather have Bourjos over Jay.

Pleasantly surprised Choate isn't on the roster.

Cishek>Broxton.

Well shit.

I saw the Giants deal fell through - not happy to see the Cubs get ANOTHER guy.

That said, usually the money tells you how good the guy will likely be now that so many teams have heavily invested in the international scouting markets. It's not much different than the Diaz scenario where people were talking about him getting $30 million to replace Jeter in NY. Suddenly there was no market for him at all and the Cardinals got him for utility infielder money.

Then he proceeded to prove he's probably not much more than a RH version of Greg Garcia.

If the market on him fell all the way to $3 million, there are probably some pretty serious issues with his game.
