Very true.

The Chiefs have been way too reliant on a position (RB) that is too injury prone and has too short of a shelf life to build your offense, and franchise for that matter around long term.

If this marks the end of Charles as a dominant RB, then one positive that could come of this is that it will finally force the Chiefs to build a team around a QB, which is how you win in the NFL in 2015.

His agent should be disbarred for malfeasance. Letting him re-sign in '14 with KC was negligent.

Both the Chiefs and JC would have benefited immensely from him being traded to an actual contender.
