Official Royals Repository, Part 5 ***

This time: With more playoffs

Our beloved Kansas City Royals take on the plucky upstart Houston Astros in the ALDS; Can they remind the Astros that they're supposed to be a year away from this?

Can an AL team manage to beat the Royals this postseason?

Only a ****ing idiot wouldn't know?

Let me tell you something you little ****ing piece of shit.

I live in California.
I work a lot of hours.
I have one sports talk radio station available to me at work, and they never talk about the Royals.

The comeback game against the Astros, I heard talk about the Cubs-Cardinals, the Mets-Dodgers, the Rangers-Blue Jays the following day.

Not one single mention of the Astros-Royals in my 14 hour day.

I didn't hear who won that game until I got home from work that evening.

And I guaran****ingtee you, the fact that Holland is out with TJ never came to close to getting on their radar.

This is the place I get Royals news, and I haven't had time to wade through through this thread to have found out this info.

I asked a a question and got a stupid ****ing answer.

I responded to that stupidity, and if you have a prroblem with that, then you can go **** yourself with a barbed wire laced with the ebola virus.

Not one homer for the BJ's in the first 2 games. Would love to see Cueto continue that drought tomorrow.

The Jays only won 10 games without hitting a home run. Only won 10 times scoring less than 5 runs.

There's plenty of room on the bandwagon... The True Blue app is Royals news without having to deal with kcstar.com's annoying pop-ups and late-night police blotter

So they are kinda like the Astros. They have no idea how to win a game without hitting the long ball.

Gibbons said we are "pesky hitters" and that Price "deserved better". Both statements are false. The Royals finished 6th in runs in MLB. They have several guys at ~20HR which given our park, would be 3-5 more each elsewhere. (302 hit at Rogers vs 130 at the K by comparison). We hit one out, one missed by a foot, and yet another blast went just wide by Rios.

As for Price: he gave up 5 ER in a playoff game, where he couldn't get out of the 7th. That's not a quality start, and he got precisely what he "deserved".

Around these parts we try to have informative Royals conversation and analysis without the usual CP condescending banter. Take it easy on the name calling - it's unnecessary and mucks up an otherwise top notch thread.

Funny to see what started as a grand annoyance to all of us (orange Marlins jersey in every pitch view) has manifested itself into a sort of seal of approval to the Royals faithful - love seeing the guy living and dieing like a longtime KC fan every pitch - very cool - it's the effect of watching great baseball - can't help but get sucked in by our players and their brand of baseball.
