Main issue with Buck is that he goes to the extreme of what most PBP guys do - he gets stuck on a narrative or person and he just beats it to a pulp - most PBP guys move on and let the game create its own narrative. All in all he's just a super-average PBP guy - but only when he's not caught up in his preferred narrative-loop.

Mike Greenberg does this. He takes some side issue, makes it seem like the most important topic in the world, and beats it to death. Meanwhile completely ignoring more interesting subjects.
