My trip to NY

So I was extremely lucky and got to fly to NY for the games this past weekend. A family member does a lot of his job in NY and got tickets to every game and took me. Unbelievable experience. I thought I would share some of my pics and say a couple things.

Mets fan. LOL. New yorkers are ridiculous. Their accents and look on life is just hilarious. Most of the fans were really nice. Probably about 20% were absolute shitheads though. "BOOOOOOO GO BACK TO NEBRASKA GO METS GO"

NY is a cool city but you would have to pay me about a million a year to live there or its not even worth it. Living in a matchbox surrounded by a steel cage, trash, and psychos for 2k a year. No thanks.

Had a couple of really good meals though. Probably the best part about NY is the food. Ate at a jewish deli called Katz that was really bomb, and also ate at a steak house called Peter Lugers that was pretty damn good too.

Citi Field is a really nice stadium. Good views. Every mets fan was like "Yo you gawta geaux to ShakeShack out in the outfield its da best berga youll eva have!." I didn't waste my time. Line was about 2 hours long the entire game. The stadium is really vertical so even the spots up top get good seats because you're right on the action.

In game 3, early in the game, a mets player fouled off a pitch into the grass and it was rolled back to the Royals dugout where Jonny Gomes got the ball. I yelled his name and he threw it to me! ****ing BADASS!!! Official game ball of the 2015 world series!

What a ****ing awesome series for us! Best year possible! AL central champs, AL Champs, World Series Champs. Awesome!

I hope one day our chiefs put a season together like that

Spoiler!

Looks like a great trip to take in many of the must see places.

Katz's is my favorite deli and I see you got one of their famous pastrami on rye with Jewish pickles.

Peter Luger's is awesome as well and my buddy was just there a few months back. You must have been warned it's CASH only there. It sure is old school and very good, one of the best.

The only thing missing would be a picture of a bum sleeping on the sidewalk with his Met's gear on! LOL

Great seats and thanks for sharing.

Yeah that's what my family member said about lugers. The name holds more weight than the actual meal but it's just one place you gotta go in your life. It was pretty damn amazing though. I think I enjoyed the Katz deli meal alittle more though. They give you samples as they make you the food. It was great

I love me some Keens Steakhouse! Now NYC has some great food so it's a great argument to have, but I love me some Keens steak!

Trash? Where? People don't throw their trash on the streets.

I live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and it is lined with pristine white glove buildings and scenic tree-lined townhouses.

Glad you went to Peter Luger's - great steaks.

FYI: My apartment is quite large.

Yeah, but do fish fry in the kitchen?
Do beans burn on the grill?
