New England will almost assuredly be the #1 seed.

That leaves Denver and Cincy fighting for the #2 and #3 seed.

3 seed plays the 6 seed in the first round...so the Chiefs will visit Denver or Cincy.

Who you want?

Everyone who keeps picking Denver talks about Denver's offense.

They fail to realize it's not our defense that's teh problem, regardless of who we play. It's our offense.

Why in the world would you want to put our pedestrian offense against one of the best D's in the NFL....especially one that knows our team like they do.

**** that.

Dalton shits his pants too, so we'll see if that changes. Still a very talented team that looks like they will win at least 1 playoff game at this point.

For the first time in a long long time, there isn't a huge force in the AFC. The even the Pats aren't what they were with their injuries

Agreed. But I still would rather play Denver.

Both defenses are among the best defenses in the NFL.

Keep in mind Alex Smith plays a TON better in the playoffs for some reason. Happened in SF too.

If im picking teams for the Chiefs to play, im picking teams that our offense can have success against.

Im not worried about how our defense will fair against opposing offenses.

Im far more worried about constant 3 and outs.

But Denver's is still better. Much more stout. And Alex playing better in the playoffs is not something i'd count on.

To be fair, he beat the living shit out of Indy before half our roster went down.

He was also a muffed punt return away from taking SF to the Super Bowl.

Because converting on third downs is irrelevant to the final outcome of a football game.

Alex is one of those guys that elevates his game come playoff time.

Solid player in the regular season but great player in the playoffs.

So tired of hearing this.

Alex has played 3 playoff games in his career.

He played exceptional football against the Saints and Colts....both of which were AWFUL defenses. The 1 playoff game that he played against a quality defense, he shit the bed.

Guess what? We wont be playing a shit defense if we sneak in as the 6 seed.

There's actually a good chance that we play Indianapolis if we get the #6 seed
