You add a group, look at their post counts, post as much as Clay it inbreds into threads and we get the big mess. Same shit happened on a smaller scale with the Patriot trolls in 2009.
It's a unique situation when you have a group much more invested in the name in the back of a jersey than the front. You have threads with people with 2 different agendas. Makes it tough.

Every team has a organization versus player fan conundrum.

If you're not rooting for the actual players, you've invested your passion solely into the coffers of a Texan billionaire, no more.

We've been fortunate, or unfortunate depending, that we've never had a true superstar defect and test our allegience. Closest was Neil Smith, and he came out looking bad in that deal [to us] though it worked out well from his POV.

We all have favorite players but in the end we are still here cheering on the Chiefs long after those guys are gone.. Once ASS is benched or moves on the March 2013 influx will move on right along with him.
They place player success above team success.

Disagree. They are more passionate about 'their player' being credited for his part in the team success, but that's a different matter.

If they were here saying 'so what if the team sucks [if it happened to suck]. Alex is getting rich, and he'll soon be on a better team,' THAT would be putting the player above the team.

Seems more like they're enjoying the team, with a soft spot in their assessment for the guy who drew them here.

Decisions, decisions.

Do I go the 'bullshit slander!!' route? . . . or the 'link' route? Maybe the TITS or GTFO route? . . . .Or just laugh this off? Decisions, decisions. . . .

Yeah, wasn't going to bother. So untrue.. Me thinks he likes twisting shit to a remarkable level. I may have arrived due to Alex.. which I agree in many ways may be bizarre.. but I really am all-in with the Chiefs. They would have to bench him during his best play for me to even consider looking other options.

What some people don't accept.. and for their own personal reason may be right with.. is that we as fans always.. have options.

Id go with the "Oops I guess I was wrong about those guys" if I were you.
I'm not digging it up but he would likely own it and then attempt to downplay/rationalize it.
