I actually really like Hogan. I think his game translates very well. He'll be the 3rd string this year and id give him a good chance to be a starter at some point. He has the intelligence and intangibles that Reid loves. I dont understand why people dont like him as a prospect.

After seeing this kid, I think we have a new chunker in town, and my god does it look terrible. I really want to stick with the if it aint broke dont fix it method, but this kid isnt chunkin that bill like Mr. Rivers. Hopefully they can find a happy medium between his natural throwing motion and something that doesnt look like my 8th grade QB.
Reid already told the media he is not changing anything about Hogan's delivery.

Because he wasn't "Geno overrated" coming into this draft.

Did he really? I think that's great.

Here's the deal: Only two things can happen when changing a QB's delivery and both are bad:

1. He can't change his delivery, which makes it worse
2. He can change his delivery, which makes it even worse.

If he's effective with his current delivery, and 3 Pac 12 titles and a Rose Bowl win are somewhat convincing, let it play out.

Hogan will be our backup. Just watch.

That's what Reid said as well. He was successful for 4 yrs at a high level. Leave him alone.

I do as well. Nothing wrong with unorthodox if you are successful doing it consistently.

Let's go back to 99 when Brady was drafted. He wasn't anything special coming out of Michigan. Average arm talent. Let that sink in for a minute as to what you would of said IF we would have drafted Brady in the 6th.

Reid say's he loves how Hogan can see windows before they open up, that his anticipation instincts are really good. You can't teach that. AS can't do it.

To your points 1 and 2 that I wholeheartedly agree with a perfect example would be Josh McDaniel changing Tebow's delivery in which Tebow actually got worse if that's possible.

You have no ****ing clue if it "took" Murray 2 years to learn the verbiage and playbook of the WC offense. He's been on the team for 2 years behind a player the Chiefs preferred to trust on the sidelines and in action because they wanted the best possible chance to win. Just like you have no clue how much verbiage is similar to the offense Hogan played in at Stanford. WC-like concepts are not the same thing as learning the new playbook, especially from college to pros. And what's this shit about Murray having to learn the playbook from scratch as a rookie but Hogan doesn't? Murray didn't play in a spread offense at Georgia, and there were many similar concepts from his Georgia offense to what Andy Reid runs.

Not saying Hogan can't be our backup, but it's really ****ing stupid to assume he'll get it right now just because of his resume, which isn't even that impressive compared to Murray's college resume.

So now all late round QBs with average arm talent are Tom Brady?

Sheesh. And I was a guy who said Ricky Stanzi was good enough to be a mediocre starting QB better than Cassel.

Aaron,Ricky to Kevin ? Seriously ? 3 PAC titles and a Rosebowl. Resume is not impressive ?

All he did was win for 3 yrs accumulating more than 30 plus wins with over a 60% completion rate for all 3yrs with a 2 to 1 TD to Int ratio while under center in the WC offense.

I have a good psychiatrist I refer my patients to when their delusions start becoming psychotic. Would you like his number ???

And Murray's college resume is a bunch of horse shit, right?

Tell me, did you believe that Tim Tebow was the next great NFL QB because he won games and had impressive stats in college? How about Ken Dorsey?
