Fisher is interesting. 2013 he sucked, 2014 he looked damn good a handful of games then struggled down the stretch of the season, and thenot last year he was pretty good all year.

I wish they'd have put him at LT from day one and let him get going there.

As for his personal progress, I have no idea. He was the starter in the offseason but since they're in shorts, it's difficult to judge whether or not he's improved at this point. The preseason games will likely give some kind of indication. |

I don't get this forums hard on to side with Eric Berry and a complete homeristic feel bad for him perspective.
A) ERIC BERRY IS STILL MAKING 10.8 MILLION FULLY GUARANTEED TO PLAY FOOTBALL THIS SEASON ON THE TAG. HE IS LITERALLY THE HIGHEST PAID SAFETY IN THE ENTIRE NFL FOR THE 2016 SEASON. HOW CAN HE BE MAD AT THE FRONT OFFICE, TEAMMATES, ANYONE. HE IS STILL GETTING A LARGE CHUNK OF CHANGE. So if you're salty about this it's the fact that you want him locked up and you either side with Berry wanting to be locked up at his current tag price or higher, which literally makes zero sense if he wants to be even a higher paid safety than what he's currently tagged at. I have never seen an NFL player that was getting paid the most at his position, wanting a raise against himself. Not even some of the biggest divas in the league this forum has made fun of have ever done that in contract disputes. B) Eric Fisher has made about 18 million playing Left Tackle for the Chiefs. Eric Berry has made almost 50 million PLAYING SAFETY. There are probably a handful of good players at LT in the sport of football. Guys at Eric Fisher's size do not grow on trees, and they are very hard find, he is also still very young (only 25.) That puts him at the same age as Tyron Smith and Terron Armstead. He's also not being paid the most at his position. He barely slides in the top 5, which he will eventually fall out of as other guys get paid. If you're telling me I have to pick between paying 12 million to a younger, average to good LT or 10-12 million (or more) for an elite safety with health concerns I'd probably take paying the LT every time. |

I'm confused. Is this deal the 4yrs-$48 million or are we paying him the rest of his contract then the 4 years making it 6yrs-$63 million?

paying him his rookie contract this year, his team option next year, then the extension. Comes out to 12 per with about 80 percent of the contract guaranteed. He's locked up until the year 2021. Enjoy the next 6 years of Fisherball

As quick as Kush rolled into camp with his red jeep decked out in Chiefs flags and decals was as quick as Morse made him leave with a cut flag waiting in his locker at the end of training camp

Then the guy bounced around last season. So strange. This year, he's with the Rams. |

![]() But Kush was getting the starter reps (OTA's and mini camp), and looked like the starter going into camp. They just pretty much plugged Ehinger in at LG immediately. I think Fulton ran with the 1's for like one day. |
