Do we have any idea at all which Newton is going to take the field?

Because that makes all the difference. That team just barely held of a terrible Rams team after they looked like they may be rounding into form against the Cardinals the week before.

What the Panthers may need to do is go back to what they did last year when Newton was actually taking the ball at defenders. Yeah, it'll cut down on his career, but it actually ends up making guys get tired of trying to hit him. The dude is like Bettis out there. Conventional wisdom says to hit him and rattle him but if Newton's going out there being the hammer instead of the nail, he gets charged up and defenders start to get a little tired of getting trucked by a damn QB.

The Panthers are just such a strange team this year that I don't have any idea what we'll run into. But because both teams seem opposed to putting their foot on anyone's throat, it feels like a 4 point game either way.
