Scared of Pittsburg?

Why is everyone scared of Pittsburg? Really? With this Chiefs team?

NO way this team is scared of Pittsburg, NO FREAKING WAY would we lose to Pittsburg at Arrowhead...

Mark it down. WE want Pittsburg and we will crush their souls.

Yep, but that was then and then is now.

This team is built for these kind of games in the playoffs.

I agree. Sometims things have to break just right for a team to seize the opportunity. Nothing wrong with that.

Think about it. When the playcalling has opened up this offense, the Chiefs offense has produced.

When it gets too cute or goes in a hole, we can't produce.

It's that simple.

I'd prefer not to see Pittsburgh in the playoffs, BUT, this is definitely a different team than the one that the Steelers walloped a couple months ago. The pass rush is way better, the DBs are starting to solidify, and the Kelce/Hill offense is capable of keeping the Chiefs in any game. If Reid goes into a game with Pittsburgh with the same "we need to score early and often" mentality he had going into the Falcons game, I think we would definitely have a great shot at coming away with the win.

This.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, on the other hand, could be a problem.

Key would be forcing turnovers. The Steelers turn the ball over more than KC does. Chiefs gonna Chiefs so I think that happens.

Can we be honest.

The Steelers beating us had JUST AS MUCH TO DO with the Chiefs shitting the bed as it did the Steelers playing well.

A WR caught a TD pass while our third string CB was scratching his asshole. Ware fumbled. We totally shit the bed.

We won't shit the bed a second time. That's not our track record this year.

The Steelers are probably still likely to beat us, but it'll be a hotly contested affair.

I'm guessing they outlast us, 30-24.

I still think they'll live or die with Ware. If he gets 100 vs Pittsburgh or New England well win. If not I don't think Smith has the ability to sling it vs those guys and have the defense shut them down. The bend but break shit won't work against Brady and probably won't work against Ben either.

Clark - Hello?

Roger - Hey, Clark, buddy! Want to give you the lowdown on the 2016 season.

Clark - Okay...

Roger - Last year was pretty good for the Chiefs huh?

Clark - Well, yeah...

Roger - With that big win in the playoffs and all.

Clark - Yeah, I...

Roger - Well good news! This year is going to be even better!

Clark - Okay, how...

Roger - We're going to give you a few prime time games!

Clark - Oh that sounds...

Roger - One on Christmas night!

Clark - Oh that sounds...

Roger - And we will flex another! TWO Sunday night games against Denver!

Clark - But I...

Roger - Don't worry buddy! You'll win both of those!

Clark - But, Denver...

Roger - Don't worry! Denver is going to suck this year.

Clark - About ti...

Roger - But, the bad news. You will lose in the playoffs.

Clark - Oh no, not again... Why?

Roger - Concessions have to be made buddy.

Clark - But...

Roger - Sorry buddy, has to be this way. Jerry has been cranky lately, and to make him feel better, they're going to the Super Bowl.

Clark - But...

Roger - With a rookie quarterback! How about that for a story line?

Clark - Well, I guess...

Roger - Good stuff! Good stuff!

Clark - Against who?

Roger - That would be "against whom", Clark.

Clark - Right.

Roger - The Steelers! Two storied franchises! Can't make this shit up Clark!

Clark - Alright, so we...

Roger - Yes.

Clark - lose to...

Roger - That's right.

Clark - The Steelers?

Roger - Yes.

Clark - **** me.

Roger - I just did.
