It's a product of Rivers playing with a shit supporting cast which has put him on pace for a career high in turnovers. Thus, the Chargers rank dead last in opponent starting field position, which their defense has no control over; so naturally, they are going to give up more points as a result.

When has he not had a shit supporting cast? Every year the guy is throwing to guys off the street by week 6.

His INT% has risen from 2.0 last season to 3.5 this season, which is nearly double, and yet their defense still gave up 25 PPG last season.

It's just not a good defense. Sorry.

I already know he will be our starting quarterback next season like it or not doesn't matter I'm not going not watch my Chiefs because I love Chiefs football.

I did not want Matt Cassell here and I hated he was our quarterback from day one however that didn't make me quit watching or be a fan. So stop being a ****ing twit and telling us what we have to like or what to accept. We can do that on our own terms.

I think we have a golden opportunity even with your "golden boy" Alex Smith to win a Super Bowl this year. I think we have the tools to get it done but we are going have to count on Alex Smith to not **** things up for us. So I'm going to root for him like I have rooted for him even if I didn't want him as our quarterback he is what we have.

Alex Smith isn't as good of a quarterback as you make him out to be nor is he as bad as he is made out to be on CP that balances him out to be mediocre quarterback and that's what he is but he can play up to higher level at times and this is the time we need him too.

Instead of Black Bob you should be called Bagdad Bob that's who you act like.

If Trent Dilfer can win a Super Bowl by Gawd so can Alex Smith.

if QB turnovers almost doubles yet defensive points allowed per game remains the same that must mean the defense is playing at a higher level..

I will give you Alex Smith is above average quarterback at this point.

However I feel that his criticism is much warranted and that 3 playoff victories from 11 seasons isn't him being a world beater or gives us an elite quarterback. So please don't expect everyone of us to just "accept" Alex Smith.

I've seen Alex make some great plays but consistently he doesn't make them and so that is the concern we have. You can't fault us for that concern.

Also fans should be critical it's our right as being a fan of the team we love to be critical. I cheer for big plays if it's Alex Smith making them and I will boo shitty plays if it's Alex Smith making them.
