I ensured the connection to the mobo was tight.
Uninstalled/reinstalled Realtek drivers. Went into bios and changed from digital sound to AC97. Still no worky. In the Sound Control panel there is no headphones icon as a playback source option. I"m trying to think what it could be other than a mobo fail and am running out of ideas on what to try???
