NFL personnel guys can't have just whiffed that badly on him, can they? I mean the way the guy played absolutely looked like someone that's no worse than a long-term, viable #2 corner but man, you really need to believe the league is full of idiots to get there.

What was the difference? How'd he suddenly become that good, that fast? Don't the odds overwhelmingly favor the conclusion that he was just on a hot streak?

He looked to have staying power, no question. If the Chiefs could get him on a 3-year extension to keep him out of RFA next year, I'd be down. But let's not overlook the possibility of him turning back into a pumpkin because a whole lot of people put eyes on that kid and didn't see an NFL player...right up to the point he became one of the 20-30 most effective CBs in football last year.

I really hope something just made the light switch on, scheme, coaching, motivation, I don't know. I do know hope is not something you can count on.
