I was laying the groundwork for my guilt about asking if people with non-traditional American last names were legitimate car sellers. I think conservatives don't feel like there as anything wrong with questioning a person's intent when they sound like they are not originally from this country, or even if they are from this country but have a last name that sounds like it belongs to a non American.

Well my general rule of thumb is that if something online seems like a scam and you feel like you are noticing some red flags, avoid it.
