Eh, as you know, as long as you're not in the sun, it's not bad.... Dodgers/Royals in Spring Training was about 96, felt at least 10 degrees cooler in the shade though. It was a little toasty walking back to the car.

Not sure what the odds are but my oldest played on the Astros this year and my youngest the Dodgers. Personally would have rather had that statistical anomaly go towards winning the lotto or something but still pretty cool.

Not only was Kershaw completely sanguine about being pulled from a dominating performance with 83 pitches, the media never even really questioned it from what I heard.

I think Matt Harvey settled that debate forever. Not that Kershaw would have cared cause he's a mellow surfer dude. But I do feel like the whole "should the starter be allowed to complete the game" debate is over for good.

Goin' to game 2 tomorrow. Lifelong Dodgers fan, spur of the moment decision to spend a ridiculous amount of money and scratch in a check mark on my "bucket list". Gonna get in the gate as early as they will allow me and soak in every detail. Go Dodgers!

Kershaw is not a Mellow Surfer dude. He's a Texas kid! lol He is pretty mellow and curses alot when he pitches! lol

Also, the Dodgers bullpen has given up exactly 1 hit against the cubs and 0 so far against the Astro's. our 8 and 9th inning pitchers are pretty ****ing lock down. Baseball is different now days. Roberts will pull a pitcher so he can bring in Morrow or Jansen if its against the middle of a teams lineup. Obviously it has to be fairly far into the game.

Totally worth it. We splurged to get to KC for a WS game(also game 2)in 2014 and it's one of the most memorable events I have ever attended. Worth every penny(full disclosure, our game tickets were free via a friend but literally last minute airline tickets from AZ to KC, rental car, hotel room, 2 days all meals, etc)
