I’m almost inclined to give Will Shields a spot. I know he was a guard and had a negligible effect on wins/losses while he was here but ****ing shit his resume is impressive as shit.
Dude went to 12 Pro Bowls, 2 time first team All-Pro, won a Walter Payton Man of the year award, didn’t miss a single game in his entire career, played at a high level legitimately from start to finish, did a shit ton in the community, etc. He really embodies those midwestern values and he was a damned good player. |
