what in the blue sam hell did the chiefs need to send out a 6th round pick as well for? Argue what you want about the players value. If all they could get was a 2 (delayed) and 3, so be it. Why the hell are we giving away another pick on top of it?

And on defense, I expect Veach to aggressively work toward getting faster & younger. If he succeeds, I think that will eventually coincide with Bob Sutton returning to his more aggressive roots (see: the '13, '14 and '15 Chiefs). Lots of ifs, but there is a plan in place.

Pro Tip: If an employee needs another employee to help keep said employee in line, that employee won't be employed very long.

It's not Eric Berry or any other player on the Chiefs team to keep Peters or anyone else "in line".

I really thought it would be a third this year and a second next year. Why we had to throw in a pick is stupid. If this really is the deal, it's bad value. Real bad value. Rams made out like bandits. Rest of AFC West will be laughing at us as we give up 400 yards passing per game.
