New England fans taunting Peters on the sideline during a win streak would get socked in the face. ESPN comments sections would be littered with Pats fans defending the living shit out of Peters. Know how I know this? Because they defended a mass murderer and serial cheaters with fury.

Peters throws the flag into the crowd. Bellichick chews Peters' ass out. Then he goes to his press conference and grumpily chews the living shit out of the refs who called a shitty game.

Peters chews out his coaches. Bellichick chews Peters the **** out. Then he goes to his coaching staff and asks them why the **** they are running that shitty defense, and that DC would never make that mistake again.

That's what an organization does when the owner takes charge, when the fans have your back, and the coach can give tough love while also fixing the problem the player is griping about.

Re-evaluate the wisdom of moving the asset if the return was so gapped out from potential value.

There's a TON of downside for the Chiefs here. And very little upside.

They may not have waited until now to trade him. They also wouldn't allow Bob Sutton to be employed nor lose to the Titans or Steelers the way we did. All factors in this environment. Part of why the ne schtick works is because they win.
