Last year was a one-of-a-kind, so let's hope the luck carries over to this year, with Brett Veach at the helm for the first time.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. This means that as tweets are leaking picks a few minutes before the selection is announced live, you don't post it in this thread (ex: embedded tweets), reference it in this thread (ex: Joe Slapdick says it's McCaffrey to Tampa) or hint at it (ex: "it's a RB!").

Guy looks like a monster, granted it's highlight clips. But we are so soft up front I'd be all for a guy with his size and nasty.

The issue I see with trading up is that's there's quite a few different guys I'd want. Kind of defeats the purpose of trading up. If I'm GM, I left half a dozen or so picks roll off and then go up for my guy if the others go -- or just keep stringing it out until that sweet spot comes where you make the move.

At least we know Veach isn't half insane when it comes to trading up.

Can't believe how obsessed people are about trading up considering how little talent we have on defense. I guess it's the absence of a 1st rounder and dreams of some kind of stud D coming in and making a huge difference.

My expectations are real tempered as far as this draft goes. Which is fine, considering I'm more excited for the offense than I've been for over a decade.

We need impact players. This team isn’t that far off. We’ve got a cheap QB right now who is surrounded by the best supporting cast in the league probably offensively.

Trade up and get a difference maker or two.

That could help the d more this year than 2 6ths and 2 7ths an the rams 2nd next year
