Last year was a one-of-a-kind, so let's hope the luck carries over to this year, with Brett Veach at the helm for the first time.

Rules:
1. No spoiled picks in this thread, all weekend. D.J. Reed is also a good CB to get. He also return kicks and punts as well, and he was very good at that.

I wish Reid valued the running game enough to stock the line with at least 2 gate-openers. I understand that this is a pass-heavy offense, but I absolutely LOATHE running a power back out of a shotgun and sending him east/west.
There have been uncountable times that 5 or fewer yards in the red zone up the gut could have paid dividends.

I think this is the long and short of it. Tennessee didn't control the clock quite like Pittsburgh did from the start... but the Titans still ran for 200 yards. And the defense couldn't get Tennessee off the field even when it was 3rd and long and they were running the ball.

Even if the opponent doesn't use it to control the clock, they can use a power running game to salt the game away. We're going to want a defense that can actually get the other team off the field and get Mahomes the ball in the 4th quarter. If this offense is as explosive as we hope, other teams are going to try and chew clock.

So Veach says he wants to build a tough physical team like the Steelers or Ravens of the past decade plus.. it makes sense.

Add that kind of tough defense to the offense we have and you might have a perfect combo.

Very neat person - I feel much better about the draft (thus far) - he is a spaz, but it's born out of focus. I really like him. Seems to employ the K I S S formula.

After hearing all of that - I conclude that Jones will have a breakout year and the Clemson LB will be a hybrid stud.

We may only go 8-8 this season - but I'm feeling more of a 10-6 type of year.
