It sucks to lose in prime time, I get it. But this team absolutely is a Super Bowl contender. Especially considering they're likely to have homefield advantage throughout the playoffs. The "flawed" roster is giving up a ton less points at home.
Couldn't agree more.

Defense gives up 54 points and you blame the QB. Thats rich. Pat had a down night for him and still put up 6 TDs. This fanbase refused to be happy with anything.

Mahomes gave the Rams 21 points. Chiefs defense directly scored 7 and setup an easy TD on another turnover. So basically...

Chiefs Offense = 37
Chiefs Defense = 14

Rams Offense = 33
Rams Defense = 21

I know some people don’t like to blame the refs, but this game was absolutely horrendous! Just one of many examples was #79 committing a false start AND a blatant choke hold all while Goff runs it in for a score. I mean, false start is legit the easiest call a ref can make all game, bar none. I have ZERO idea how you miss that s***!

As much as I hate to say it, Pat had the best worst game I've seen.

The 2 strip sacks he held the ball too long. Fine.
The first INT was a fluke WTF play. Fine.
The second INT was a tipped pass. Fine, but ughhh.
The third INT was complete ****ing garbage. C'mon Pat, this shit was stupid.

Still, Scandrick could have sealed the game with an easy dropped INT.
I put the blame way more on him, especially considering his terribad first half. CATCH THE ****ING BALL>

Yeah that NE game ****ing hurt.

But at least this time we weren't completely dominated on defense. We were able to stop the run, force some punts and turnovers.

With Sammy, Berry (yes i know) and a couple of our interior linemen returning I would feel very comfortable believing we would beat the Rams again if we played them.

Especially on neutral ground.

Ultimately I think this is an accurate take. We'll go 14-2 or 13-3 but ultimately will be in another game like this against NE or Pitt in the playoffs. Since home field is supposed to be worth 3 points, maybe we win one of these, but I won't bank on it.

In addition to the absurd penalty disparity, the multiple obvious calls against the Chiefs (i.e the tipped ball/pass interference play and the incomplete pass called fumble play) that had to be overturned by replay... OBVIOUS calls.

If this was supposed to be the “All Stars” of NFL refs then the NFL is in trouble.

That's inaccurate.

I felt like the defense made some key stops and Pat made some huge plays.

I don't think any one side of the ball is to blame here. It was an amazing game with a some painful moments. The Chiefs should have won. Oh well.

Let's be real here the last interception we had about 15 seconds left from our own 25, Pat had to try something down the field to get closer to field goal range.
