Obviously something needs to change on that front. He gets paid a lot of money to figure it out so hopefully he will next year. Another constant problem for his teams is that they continue to not value possession of the basketball. So many turnovers year after year. We give our opponents too many extra possessions.

I don't really follow KU until the tourny, but Villanova was hitting every 3 against them last year and now Auburn is hitting every 3 against them. Is it lucky or is KU really that bad against the 3?

Kansas is historically bad vs the 3. Self doesn’t value perimeter defense. Never has.

There is zero reason the expect any significant improvement next year.

Our only two recruits are not instant impact players.

We’ll have pretty much this same roster back. A lot of our players have already hit their ceilings (Both Lawson’s, Lightfoot, Garrett, Moore).

Doke has had 4 injuries in 3 seasons. There’s no reason to expect him to stay healthy.

This is the worst outlook Kansas basketball has had under Self.
