So, is there a chance they don't end up suspending him for any games? Maybe something like Foster got and get a few game checks taken or something?

If he is issued even a single game...it's based 100% on KCTV5 prematurely airing an edited audio recording. We know, now, that the recording was created to extort Hill. The damage of showing only a small portion of the conversation is what created the "optics"..which every media outlet ran with. These "optics" are the only grounds for issuing a suspension..

Hill should sue them for damages. They aired an extortion attempt and modified it to frame him in the worst possible light.

He was free and clear until they decided to go the "clickbait" route...and unethically run an unvetted recording. That's their responsibility...

Here is ground rules #2/#4 for defamation...

2. "Published" means that a third party heard or saw the statement -- that is, someone other than the person who made the statement or the person the statement was about. "Published" doesn't necessarily mean that the statement was printed in a book -- it just needs to have been made public through social media, television, radio, speeches, gossip, or even loud conversation

4. The statement must be "injurious." Since the whole point of defamation law is to take care of injuries to reputation, those suing for defamation must show how their reputations were hurt by the false statement -- for example, the person lost work; was shunned by neighbors, friends, or family members; or was harassed by the press.

This headline appeared in the KC Star the day after the recording aired...someone please tell how this inst harassment from the press or damaging to one's reputation.

If the Chiefs care about honor and decency, Tyreek Hill can’t be part of this team

Hopefully Lisa Friel learned her lesson from the Ezekiel Elliott investigation and doesn't withhold information that could potentially exonerate Tyreek.

The NFLPA sued her for doing that in the Elliott investigation.

It wasn't edited. They didn't play all of it, IIRC, but he said what he said.

So there are major differences between this and Zekes case. Mainly the TEXT MESSAGES Tyreek has of saying he didn't do anything.

I’ve been skimming this story every so often so sorry that I’m not caught up but was wondering if someone could explain to me why Hill isn’t meeting with Goodell himself. This has been one of the biggest stories of the offseason, if not the biggest. Why would he delegate this important meeting?

I believe there is a process. A meeting with Goodell occurs after all facts are gathered and if it's deemed necessary. I'm with you in that IMO it's necessary.

It can be construed as "edited"...if I play you 2 minutes of an 11 minute song...it most definitely is considered an 'edited" version. They cherry-picked the section that would cause the most damage...

Remember, this is now an extortion attempt. It wasn't known when it was aired...and that is the responsibility of the TV station.

If Hill is suspended...they are responsible for the damages due to their negligence.
