Ive always wondered that. We used to have a ton of exotic pre snap shit. We saw some of that come back with Matt Moore. Reid seems to like that when we have to work around our qb. Why doesn't he think that would help mahomes out too? Think we've established over the past month that we don't have to be a 100% vertical offense. We've got to find ways to get the short game going too. And our run and screen game are not enough to do that right now.

Each and every thing on your list all require the starting offensive line. The back-ups can't move well enough, can't pass block long enough, etc.

Thats true for a normal QB. Go look at the film from last year. Some of the now iconic plays Mahomes was running for his life right away. He's the best, most accurate QB this league has ever seen throwing on the run. Line injuries don't explain the digression of the offense.

To my knowledge, there is only 1 one of the original starters on offense that has not missed time this season on offense. Kelce. Several of the backups have been out as well. Hard not to digress with that fact.

For the most part, we should be healthy going forward. Maybe we can recapture that 30+ points a game average from last season down the stretch.

A good chunk of penalties to away with erving out of there and with our team finally having chances to develop a rhythm together. This has been a wild and bumpy ride from an injury front going into the bye week.
