Anybody score a particulary good deal today?
No way I'm leaving the house on Black Friday. But I did do some cyber shopping today. I'm in the AV biz, and my company is gifting me a 75" 4K Panasonic display that we pulled out of a school. It's less than a year old. They didn't want it because "it was broken" and they just bought a replacement. Asked us to haul away the "broken one". It just needs a new power supply. So I should be bringing that home before the playoffs start. I needed to upgrade my home theater receiver. I have had both Yamaha and Denon, and today I snagged a Denon AVR-X3500H unit. It's a 2018 model, usually around a grand. Got it Black Friday on Amazon for $549, 18 months no interest. I've got good quality speakers at home (7.1 surround and sub) all Polk Audio stuff. Replacing a Yamaha 7.1 that's probably six or seven years old now. The new TV is going to be massive in the front of my cozy living room. Wowza!

Kids wanted computers for Christmas. I had found an Office Depot Black Friday special on an all in one for $329. Was gonna go there at 7 am to get one and then try and go back again to get another. Was able to buy them last night from their website for $270 each and picked them up today from the store whenever I wanted. Went in there around 11 or so, picked up the two computers, the two desks and chairs for less than I was gonna pay for just the computers.
