Especially for QBs. If you aren’t a winner as a QB, then you’re a failure. Nobody gives a shit about empty stats.

QB and HC will always be predominantly judged on wins and losses...particularly in the postseason.

He couldn’t even win a playoff game with that roster. And yeah he went to the AFCCG with his leg hurt the next year when that same team drafted Eric Weddle, but FFS man.

He’s had so many talented teams and did nothing. Even in 2018 when they went to the playoffs, that team was as talented overall as anyone and he still got blown out.

He’s a choker whose stats came from being behind in games.

He was at the head of a team that had the #1 offense and #1 defense in the NFL in the same year AND DIDN'T EVEN MAKE THE PLAYOFFS.

Granted, it was ultimately the fault of horrendous special teams. But its still such a weird statistical anomaly and it was during his tenure as leader of that team.

I think the point, very clearly, is you can be a great QB and not win anything.

You can also be a very average QB and win Super Bowls.
