****Official NFL Preseason Thread****

Yeah it’s not great football. But it’s football. Feel free to post about random games in here.

I’ve watched one quarter of the Pats and it’s clear Matt Jones is a bust.

Many of them are not locked in though. Just look at Kyler Murray. He didn't want to play. His goal was to play one series, score, and leave. Dude couldn't even manage a first down lol.

But hey, he was going up against the most underrated defense going into this season. The offense gets all the attention. The NFL has a big surprise coming from the other side of the LOS. This unit is NASTY and they're coming in to this season looking to send a message.

Good thing because the offense might get off to a slower than usual start this season.

I agree with this.

I will also add that I would like to never see Mahomes run the ball ever again in preseason.

I can’t blame any of these guys for not wanting to play a meaningless pre season game. Because of the 17 game season now. I’m very curious to see how it all plays out.

Will there be more injuries? Will coaches load manage players? Especially high contact positions like running backs.

Some women seem to believe that they have the right to commit violence without repercussions. Let's hope that she ends up spending a night or two in jail to think about her life choices.

Looking close, she was waving and gesticulating, then he grabbed her hand and pushed it further away, then she slapped him.

The slap was the biggest escalation, but it wasn't first physical contact.

Not saying that is the dispositive reading, obviously HOW BIG an escalation it is to go from hand grab/shove to slap is relevant. But accurate chronology is relevant.

It really did feel like the team had an agenda to chuck it to Mecole if it was close at all. We've never taken that approach in a regular season game. So yeah, we kinda were messing around.

Also, I listen to the radio with the TV on mute during the Chiefs games. On the radio Mitch Holtus said Mahomes threw a no-look pass on the over throw in the end zone to Hardman. It did look like it.

On the Mahomes INT, Patrick takes the 3 points if the game counted. I'm not worried about those things. The only thing I want to see is Mahomes step up more. His OG's don't suck and his C isn't a limp noodle. That trust will develope.

Not if we can run the ball. We get that balance going like we began the season last year and we'll be scoring in bunches. Big difference between 3rd 4 and 3rd and 8.
