Raiders' Henry Ruggs in fatal accident - will be charged with DUI resulting in death
Update: Not a rumor, actually happened. Story developing.

Per TMZ: 10:27 AM PT -- A source close to Ruggs tells us the NFL'er is expected to be OK. The condition of the other people involved in the crash is still unclear.

10:40 AM PT -- A law enforcement source tells us at least one person involved in the crash has died. Ruggs' attorney, David Chesnoff, tells TMZ Sports, "On behalf of our client Henry Ruggs III we are conducting our own investigation as of this writing and ask everyone to reserve judgment until all the facts are gathered."

This is a photo...it's well before the traffic light.

Trying to figure out how this would have even happened...there is a median separating the lanes. There wouldn't have been any traffic...and she couldn't have pulled out in front of him.

Only thing I can think of is the car was stalled...

Apparently Ruggs had a woman in the car...

I've mentioned before that one of my best friends was in charge of security at Nellis AFB a few years ago. He absolutely hated it, and had nothing but trouble keeping his troops (Air Force cops) in line. That shit just leeches into your soul. And we're talking enlisted guys who don't have a fraction of the cash your average NFL player does.

I assume people who actually grow up there develop an immunity to it, and tourists who are in and out in a couple of days will generally just lose the money they brought with them and go home, but it's a horrible environment for young adults to thrust into on a long-term basis.
