Antonio Brown purchased fake vaccination card

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Tampa WR Antonio Brown obtained a fake COVID-19 vaccination card to avoid NFL protocols.

The lesson from this for Brown, a lesson he has repeatedly failed to learn, should probably be: Remember to pay money to the people you owe money to. This was reportedly leaked by a former personal chef. It's unclear what -- if any -- fallout Brown will face from the NFL and/or his team for this. But it's press that the team did not need and it flies in the face of Bruce Arians' claim that the team was 100% vaccinated.

Well, each person that gets a shot has to sign a "contract" type of form. Where their name is spelled and then signed. The person or entity then puts a sticker that has a batch number imprinted on it like a bar code. Those numbers are then put on your vaccination card. Those entities are required to keep those forms with that documentation for 10 years. According to the regulatory committee, these are supposed to be sent to your local health office and have your permanent file updated.

At the hospital where I work all the vendors that come there have to be vaccinated. We are required by CMS to not only obtain a copy of their vaccination card but to verify that they are not fakes in any way. Then HR keeps a copy of that information for CMS to review and verify. If this is not all done correctly they, CMS, will suspend pay until these people are removed from the accepted vendors list or the error is corrected.

Kind of makes you wonder if sky cams will cover Armageddon like they are deployed during NFL games. If they do, seems like watching in 4K at home will be a better experience than attending the live event.

It's also a completely fake narrative... there was tons of coverage on Watson and Ruggs. Granted, I don't pay attention to the vast majority of sports media/TMZ bullshit, but that stuff was everywhere and hard to ignore.

I haven't seen anything on the Covid stuff outside of these threads.

That said.... if the narrative was that the Skip Baylesses/TMZs of the world were dwelling on Covid things far more than Ruggs...... well, yeah. Covid things triggers far more people and produces far more clicks than something that's universally wrong.
