God. ****. You're an idiot. This is not that hard. He did not get vaccinated, and never claimed to be vaccinated. He was 'immunized' by some sort of treatment he deemed sufficient. He submitted that to the league, while telling reporters he was 'immunized'. The league denied his submission. So, at that point, the league considered Rodgers unvaccinated. That's why when he tested positive, he was required to go through with the full 10 day quarantine, as opposed to the protocols for vaccinated players. The league knew he was unvaccinated. He lied only to the media.

Now, if you want to argue that the league was just as complicit in allowing him to bypass unvaccinated protocols, I agree. They saw him on the sidelines without a mask. They should have been investigating and punishing far earlier. My guess is that they noticed it, and were of the attitude of, "Fuuuuck..suspending Aaron Rodgers would cost a ton of money. Let's really hope he never tests positive."

The league and A-Aaron both gambled and lost. And that's why I think the league didn't come down with a more harsh punishment. They were arguably just as complicit.
