Maybe, I could go both ways on that. It helps our playoff odds but it also helps the Bucs’ odds of getting a bye (and the Bucs are by far the biggest threat to the Chiefs in a SB game, not just because that roster is stacked but because the NFL effectively fixes games for them).

If the ball is under thrown, the defender shouldn't be punished for that. Evans went through the defender. Basically, QBs like Brady are getting bailed out for crappy throws.

Every coach in the NFL should just have their QBs chuck balls up on 3rd and long then.

PI is for obvious calls where the WR is prevented from getting the ball. Evans' only option to getting that call was going through the defender. What is the defender supposed to do? He can't grab or get in the way. That is a penalty, too.

On those plays, the refs should use logic and say that isn't catchable.
