I agree. But the circumstances of the vikes changing defense to a 3-4, his injuries, vikes depth and the salary cap could make him cheaper. I’d trade our 1st for him if he passes physicals and get hunter and a 5th this year and a conditional 2nd or 3rd next year depending on how much he plays.

He’d be our best DE since Justin Houston and should be healthy. He played great after the neck injury and is young and the pectoral injury is not a future risk. I remember when I got killed for wanting to trade Justin Houston in his prime but somehow trading for someone that’s similar to Houston in sack production is a terrible idea? He’s a top 4 DE. TJ Watt, Garrett, Bosa and Hunter. Maybe even Hunter over Bosa if he passes the physical. It’s at least debatable. Hunter is the youngest player ever to 50 sacks. You don’t ever get a chance to get a DE like this.
