The issue/question with the trade - beyond his health - is what you have to give him in new money.
He's going to want a big deal, either this year or next. And you probably have to make the move tomorrow before the roster bonus is due, and then you're under the gun on that. The idea was more intriguing when there was more time to negotiate. With a 24-hour-or-screwed window, like they would have on that roster bonus, it's out for me.
