It's tough when we have to send the kitchen sink to get pressure but teams can rush 3 and get immediate pressure. These tackles aren't good at pass blocking at all. Mahomes is usually Houdini back there and finds a way to get out of it but he can't do it every time. It's probably the thing that concerns me the most about this team and could potentially spell our doom in the end.

The tackles lost this game. Mahomes may not have been perfect, but pressure made him struggle.

Our DE's get the silver medal for losing this game. There is no pass rush outside of Chris Jones.

So one silver lining is I think he’s playing better right now than he was for a huge chunk of last season, even with 3 brand new receivers instead of Tyreek & D-Rob. We’ll see if they can get into a better groove by the time the playoffs come around.

Brett Veach is really no different than Dayton Moore as far as I'm concerned. Both won a championship relatively early on in their tenure but both also have had mixed success in the draft, in FA, and with trades. Both also tried to rebuild while remaining at the top, resulting in neither being great enough to win it all or bad enough to get a high enough pick to make a difference.
