Trade Deadline
With their now being that extra WC spot and everyone being bunched up, there's gonna be alot of executives deluding themselves into thinking they have a shot.

Even with that said, I've never understood why more teams don't sell. Take the Raiders for instance and Josh Jacobs. He's clearly going elsewhere this offseason, so they probably think they could get a 3rd round comp pick. If the Saints beat them this weekend, why wouldn't you try to move him?

The Saints should trade anything that's not bolted down at this point, but I digress.

I know teams don't like to shit on their fanbase and sell because of tickets and blah blah blah.

Why dont' more teams sell though?

I bet there's a lot of teams that have contacted him but he's just waiting to play the home stretch for a contender. He has 6 sacks and 13qb hits last year. He'd still make a very solid pickup IMO.

There's very little out there to improve any of our areas of need IMO.

Toney is probably a good gamble, but more of a buy-low proposition that could pay off in future years.

Don't know what else Burt could have or should have done to improve the team this year at the deadline. Nobody gives pass rushers away, and winning a bidding war could still end up being a loss.

The Rams are not far from sucking REAL bad. Aaron Donald is a retirement risk every season it seems. Kupp still doesn't strike me as someone that would age terribly well. Ramsey isn't going to get any better. They don't have any picks to speak of to boost their talent pool. What does that team have on the horizon?

That's a team that's mediocre right now and on its way to bad. In 24 and 25 those could BOTH be top 10 picks.

I'd take it. I'd also be surprised if the Rams offered it.
