Trade Deadline

With their now being that extra WC spot and everyone being bunched up, there's gonna be alot of executives deluding themselves into thinking they have a shot.

Even with that said, I've never understood why more teams don't sell. Take the Raiders for instance and Josh Jacobs. He's clearly going elsewhere this offseason, so they probably think they could get a 3rd round comp pick. If the Saints beat them this weekend, why wouldn't you try to move him?

The Saints should trade anything that's not bolted down at this point, but I digress.

I know teams don't like to shit on their fanbase and sell because of tickets and blah blah blah.

Why dont' more teams sell though?

Disappointed. They had a glaring need and an opportunity to address it now and for the future. Instead, veach and company want to throw another 1st rounder in the trash with bad picks.

So we lost Turk to injury and Clark is gonna miss two games and we STILL decide to stand Pat? Sheldon Richardson and Suh are currently free agents..at least bring one of them In to give us more pass rush up the middle ffs. I think pairing either one with Jones would be a decent move.

Well that's a bummer. But at the same time, oh well... We'll be fine.

This is where veaxh gets aggressive cleaning up scraps and we usually make 1-2 solid moves around this time

Like I said - this is the time you re-organize pieces and supplement weaknesses. I don't think a contending team needs to fundamentally change anything.

That's all Buffalo did here - they moved one piece that may be more valuable in a vacuum for another piece that is more valuable to them.

It's the kind of move in the margins we should've been pursuing. Hell, it's the kind of move in the margins we should've been pursuing since March. I just don't understand how this team is approaching its defensive line.

We needed a pass rusher bad. I don't know who is responsible either Veach or Clark but it sucks.

Wouldnt it be a 4 just for the rest of the season? Seems high to me.

We didn't need Josh Allen (though he would've been nice). We needed a twitchy edge and a rotational interior rusher.

I just don't see why a Green or Key deal and a deal for someone like Chaisson and/or Ngakoue wasn't done.

There were guys out there. There weren't 'dudes' out there, but there was help and we need it.

I really hope this isn't the Frank Clark Blind Spot striking again. Guy played his first good game in 2 years right before the trade deadline...
Most teams won’t trade pass rushers, especially ones with Chris Ballard trying desperately to save his job.

Denver drafted a 2nd Ed pass rusher and think highly of Browning. That’s why they traded Chubb.

Why the hell would we want Chaisson? He went on IR last month with a meniscus injury. He may not be able to do shit at all this season.
