Let's talk about the Bengals

A sneaky big game in the AFC, and probably our toughest game left before playoff time.

Talk about it here

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

I can definitely see why they sneer at Chiefs Planet analysis.
If only Kelce stepped up then how does KC continue to light up the scoreboard against the top defenses in the league. The Bengals are a good team and I do like some of the talent they have. They won’t be a pushover but I still think KC is the better team.

It’s funny they would glom on to that while pretending the list of QBs they’ve beaten isn’t a glaring issue that is undoubtedly inflating their defense’s incredibly mediocre stats.

Or ignoring the changes the chiefs made in the off-season with the express purpose of countering cover 4 and 6 looks. Mahoney Qb rating and efficiencyy vs. 8 man drops hammers that point home.

Only way to show it is to go out and beat them soundly. I think it will be high scoring though.

Yeah, but that's every fan base in the NFL... and pretty much every sport. And pretty much every interest.

People are ****ing stupid.

And if they really think Bengals fans are on a whole "better" or more intelligent... they really are sheltered.

The biggest problem for visitors here is just this thread has 500 responses..... and they're of course not going to know who to scroll past and who to read, so it's just overwhelming, and yeah, a bit unhinged.

They can keep their stale conversation for the sake of being nice to each other.... all 30 posts per thread.

They know their CBs aren't that good, that they don't have much of a pass rush, and they're praying that the same defensive scheme they used last season will work again somehow. That, and they're all-in on Burrow and Chase somehow scoring 40. Apparently, none of them have seen the Chiefs pass rush in recent weeks.

Some of them think that Zac is the equivalent of Andy as a schemer and play-caller, and that this will be some kind of chess match. this seems a tad over-zealous to me.

this Chiefs team is very different from the team that played CIN last season, and not just the personnel. This defense is much faster and more athletic, just not quite as experienced as the crew from last year. Spags will be able to play their offense differently this time around, so long as everyone stays healthy.

And finally, Andy and Pat will not let off the gas in this one. They'll have learned their lessons from last year, and they'll play full speed from opening whistle to the final bell in this one.
No, no no no no no. Bengals fans are nothing like chiefs fans.

Buffalo fans are like us. Cleveland fans are an extreme version of what we were. I lived there for a short time and just remember walking into empty sports bars on Sundays talking with diehards who could barely name a few of their players. When they were .500 the bars were empty.

It reminds me of when that bengals fan on Twitter tried to claim kc fans are bandwagoners before they met mahomes. It’s not like Cleveland where they would sacrifice their first child for a Super Bowl.
