Let's talk about the Bengals

A sneaky big game in the AFC, and probably our toughest game left before playoff time.

Talk about it here

He predicted us to miss the playoffs, the Broncos to win the division, the Raiders a wildcard along with Cleveland and oh yea, the Colts to win their division.

I'm glad he is picking against KC.

Random thought:
One of the consistent keys to beating the Chiefs is holding them to FGs in the red zone.

The Chiefs weren't great in the red zone against the Rams, but they also didn't need to be. I'd guess they're sitting on some of their best, new red zone wrinkles in anticipation of this game (and then probably will sit on wrinkles until the playoffs).

That's kind of par for the course.

And I'd expect them to sit on some of their best new stuff after this game, too, in anticipation of the playoffs.

It's just stupid. Yeah, it matters, just give some generic answer and move on.
He was talking about the TE Hurst. It's not likely that he goes off. Very different from Shaq Barrett talking trash on Thuney and Trey Smith.

Hot Take - Chiefs secondary will play at an elite level leading to Burrow throwing multiple INTs

Also not having Hardman played a role in that. He is very effective in the red zone. Another thing about the Rams is that Ramsey was on Kelce a lot and although Travis made him look bad once, he was pretty effective covering Kelce. Also the Rams have three future HOFers on that defense. Their offense is putrid, but their defense is still really good.

I was with you until you said Jimmy G is top 5. No way that's true. Is it?

Burrow is due for an “off” game. He has 8 INT against AFC North opponents and 0 INT against the rest of NFL. Of course it’s entirely possible he keeps the streak going and torches the KC defense. I’ll be rooting against him!

Jimmy G is #5 this year in passer rating, but #17 in QBR. Mahomes is #4 in passer rating and #2 in QBR. Burrow is #6 in passer rating and #13 in QBR.

3 questions:

Where did you get that stat?

How do they attribute yards given up to safeties?

How does that stat compare to all the other NFL (strong) safeties?

Exactly.

24-6 or even 22-6 seem more likely to me, though.
