I find it fascinating that whenever there's a little potential for chaos on the field - a running clock, a penalty, a fourth down, whatever - Patrick Mahomes II always seems to be exactly on top of it. My dog, Bean, does not like it when I yell at the television. If the Chiefs game or the Jayhawks game is causing involuntary utterances on my part, the dog gets anxious and might start barking - like, "I sense master has detected intruders at the door. I don't sense them myself, but I will help defend our home against intruders, whether they be USPS carriers or FEDEX drivers. Arf! Arf! Arf!"

I tried multiple approaches to solve the riddle:
First I tried to recall if anywhere in my past I had come across these words. While having a near eidetic memory, I must admit, this approach failed me.
Then I tried a self-hypnotic regression to see if I could possibly retrieve a blocked or regressed memory. This also produced no joy.
Feeling desperate, I tried to tap the Akashic plane and access all cosmic knowledge and data in the universe. However, I again could not solve the riddle.
Then, in a stroke of inspiration I realized I just Google "Beans, said Homer" and cut/paste the results into my response. This approach worked for me.
It's a fairly obscure reference, how did you come to know it by heart?
