They started doing that in Minneapolis too, as a way to itemize the cost of the additional benefits the city started requiring them to provide. I am in favor of anything that illustrates to people that nothing is free, and the costs of all this stuff will always be passed directly on to you.

Servers have very little value. You can automize the food delivery. Be able to order remotely from the table. This would work easily for all restaurants except the 5 star places.
