And no I don't think it is funny bringing in another WR3, borderline WR2 from GB to pay him 13-15 million dollars per year for some dumbass reason towards Aaron Rodgers.

And all these people that brought up what MVS did in the AFCCG sure aren't going bring up that disappearing act of his in the Super Bowl.

Yeah we do seem to have been super lucky on injuries and I've not seen it discussed much. Obviously having a world class medical team helps.

Some of you guys are missing the point of this offense.

Any individual receiver may well 'disappear' in any game, or for a stretch of games. That's because the offense does not 'run through' anyone other than Mahomes.

Complaining that MVS 'disappeared' in the Super Bowl shows you don't understand.

Now, if they'd struggled to move the ball and score points, you have a gripe. That's not the case.

Should we look at Lazard? Sure. Depends on the price.

As for MVS-man, in the AFCCG, when receivers were dropping like flies and Marcus freaking Kemp was taking meaningful snaps, MVS came up big with 6/116. Not just a deep threat/clear out route guy, but THE guy in a huge win in the clutch.

The purpose of this offense post-Tyreek is that it's so diverse, with so many weapons to beat the defense that you can't take away everything. So, expecting big fantasy football-style numbers from anyone other than Kelce is a mistake. Kelce gets what he gets because he's so smart and has a telepathy thing going with Patrick, but everyone else will feast or starve depending on the defense on any given week.
