But if they determine it's just some bad luck and they think he can play and not get hurt... I mean, the Chiefs did have plans for him playing both left and right tackle, and he's had several years' experience working with the coaches and whatnot. They had some pretty big plans for him in 2021 until the injury.

It could very well be that the Chiefs got Taylor just to say, "Look, we've got one of the tackles locked down. We're not sure if that's going to be the left or the right side. It depends on how well Taylor does on the left and also who we draft and what the current guys on the roster end up doing."

Just throwing shit at the wall, here. Flame away. I know how half the board hates Niang's guts and thinks he's a pussy, but you're going to hold that opinion no matter how much Niang might possibly impress the coaches, so there you have it.
You shouldn't catch **** at all. Niang is going to be given a real shot at RT, assuming Taylor can handle LT. Kinnard is going to be given a shot at the utility spot, IMO, at least in camp/preseason.

You should call your utility company immediately. I suspect you have a gas leak or CO poisoning.

I believe that’s due to him being stuck at LG

I honestly don't think we'll really know what the true plans are for the O-line until camp. Right now the tackles we have are Taylor, Niang, Prince and maybe Kinnard if they still see him as a tackle. Obviously that's never gonna be the only tackles in the building come opening night and I fully expect there to be two or three names added to that list. A vet and a high draft pick at least.

That is an All Madden line in the making for sure. Definitely will be compared to the Cowboys lines of the 90s and the Chiefs lines of the early 2000s.

Every one wants to "draft and develop" then when it doesn't immediately take off in linear fashion (I think that's the right terminology it's been a while since math) they're done.

Not everyone develops the same due to this reason or that. Some never do. Some take time.

Niang was a good prospect with an injury history. He's had injury issues here so maybe that persists, but you atleast see what you have there before you throw it away.

If they have to go a little cheaper at RT with NIang and it allows them to go get another weapon or another safety or something, do it.

Yup. This signing does not happen unless Veach and Andy believe he can play LT at or above the level Brown Jr did.
