In spots, yes. Not at edge though. They laready have Hutchinson, Houston, Harri, Okwara, and Paschal. I really don't think it was an early need. I don't hate your pick for them, although Paschal is already a similar player. Adebawore could rotate in with Kancey at DT maybe a bit better. The run on LBs right before you didn't help. I would have went elsewhere there but I can get the reasoning. There's worse than yours out there.
Edit: I think there needs to be some reasoning for a pick. I mean we can always say "you can never have too many pass rushers," but that comes with the caveat of "at what expense?" Do I need to go pass rusher in the top 50 for a team that's 3-4 deep already even if they might be losing a guy next year? Probably not. I'm guessing there are other more pertinent holes to address. I'd lean towards a team filling those holes, then maybe taking a more developmental guy in the 3rd or 4th. I wouldn't bitch if this wasn't what has screwed alot of CP mocks up in the past. It happens every single year. I can work around it. There's 3 guys sitting there right now that all fit the edge for KC that I'm 100% comfortable taking in the 2nd. If they all go by that pick, well some other insane value is going to fall again. |

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Tyrique Stevenson, CB, Miami
*HOMER PICK ALERT* Just kidding. Stevenson is a baller, and paired with Campbell, gives the Jags a really good young CB duo. |

Not the guy I thought you'd take here but a really good pick. Makes up for your 1st round gaff. :P It's the redemption round.

Why is it though? Walker Little is going to start at RT and Cam Robinson is going to start at LT. Little nearly beat out our 80 million dollar shiny new LT to start at RT last offseason. You putting him at guard?
It was a bad pick my man. Terribad. They need a swing replacement, not a starter. |

I actually was trying to be nice and wasn't all that critical of your Gibbs selection. You're just being sensitive because you made a "terribad" pick. It's ok buddy. It's just a mock. |

And in the same breath, you want me to reach a bit for an ER that's more of a top-50 guy instead of taking a player that's closer to a top-20. Meanwhile, you're trying to sell that the Jags are going to replace a LT they just spent a bunch of money to keep with a RT or replace a RT they spent a 2nd round pick on? Believe me, you're not the last I'm going to ask about because there are a few more special ed selections. Just be happy you won't top DJ's dumbass pick of McDonald. If they take an ER at 5 they sure as **** aren't taking one again early in the 2nd. At least your guy could see the field at OG for the Jags. Dude I'm over guys thinking they didn't make some dumbass picks while simultaneously mocking others. I didn't give a shit about these dumb**** picks but you can bet your ass I am now. Guys need to research their team ****ing base schemes and ****ing needs before someone calling another person stupid. |

Dude, this is all for fun. No reason to get butthurt.
And just to be clear, I never really said anything about the pick other than I would've taken McDonald. You are the one that came with your passive aggressive bs because you're butthurt over the general reaction to your pick. You knew it was coming, so why get so defensive about it? |

Suddenly the arguments are abruptly silenced as everyone stares at the stage with open mouths.

Also, I didn't say they're replacing Robinson this year. I'm saying that next year (2 years removed from 3 year extension), that they might want to get out of it and get cheap at OT with 2 guys on rookie contracts.
Walker Little isn't some proven stud. If you're going into the season with him at RT, it's still a question mark. Taking Wright gives you a guy that can start day 1 and probably be better. Little can be your swing T and gives you the flexibility to possibly get out of Robinson's contract next year. |
