Weed, though, is a near-daily thing. I was pretty wound up when I was younger and honestly think I had some weird mental health things going on. There are downsides to weed, obviously, but I feel like it has mellowed me out and actually had a major positive impact on my career. My career path has taken me down a stressful road lately. I switched over to sales-oriented positions about 4 years ago and it's just a ****ing thankless grind of an industry. Doesn't matter what you're selling; the pressure to produce can really strain you over time.

It would be nice to be able to come home and enjoy a blunt or something after work but, in retrospect, it's probably best that I never enjoyed it. I've saved myself a ton of money over the years by not needing to buy. And I generally do pretty well with the stress so that is great too.
