Chiefs Andy Reids first game as Chiefs coach

It's still amazing how bad the 2012 team considering the talent they had. They didn't really even have a lot of injuries as far as I can remember so they were playing with a healthy Charles, Bowe, Rodney Hudson, Hali, Poe, Houston, DJ, Flowers, and Eric Berry.

Everyone will probably disagree with this, but it's not like the coaching was horrible. The offensive staff had two guys (Nick Sirianni and Brian Daboll) that would end up being head coaches. As far as head coaching goes, Andy Reid is clearly on another planet compared to Romeo, but it's not like Romeo was some guy that never been on a NFL sideline before and then got bounced out of the league. He was a respected coach around the NFL.

Obviously Smith is a huge upgrade over Cassel and that made a difference. Still, with all the parity in the NFL, the 2012 Chiefs would just go out there and get their asses kicked. It felt like most of the games were over by halftime. i mean the 2008 Chiefs finished 2-14, but it at least felt like they were in most of the games. I feel like on paper the '12 teams was at least a 7-9 or 8-8 team but they ended up being the worst team in franchise history.
