A lot of people have a lot invested in Justyn Ross or even John Ross and now you're telling us that DHop is in KC sleeping over at Justin Reid's house passing physicals late in the day while the organization is putting the kibosh on KCTV5's ability to broadcast footage of him?

I also realize that my ass ... and my credibility are on the line here.

I'm the one who has to eat the **** sandwich if all this doesn't happen in the next few days.

Yea ... I personally want DeHop too ... but a hundred things could go wrong with the negotiations that the public will never hear about ... and he'll sign somewhere else ... and I'll look like a complete ass.

I guess I just don't completely understand.
If Chris Jones gets an extension and we lower his cap number by $10 Million, we have no idea what his numbers would actually lower so this is just an example, wouldn't that money actually go to finish signing our draft class and doing the extension for Mahomes which is supposed to raise his salary?
I still don't see where there is any money for Hopkins who is supposedly asking for more than OBJ got from what I saw/heard he is wanting $23 Million AAV.

FAU, Morris, Conner, Thompson, Coburn, and Jones are already on the books, leaving Rice as the only unsigned draftee. Pick 55 (per Spotrac) is 6.495M over 4 years (1.18M year 1).

If we freed up 10M, we could spend it. and if we raise Mahomes salary, I think it'll happen on the back end more, I don't see them raising this or next years numbers.
