People making 50k end up with money issues because it's hard to get ahead when rent is 1500 dollars and your utility companies then jack up their rates mixed in with sky rocketing food prices.

Its around $2300-$2500 down here. The people who work where the jobs are, cant afford to live close to the work. It's a real problem down here. They passed a law that 20% of all new construction must be reserved for "workforce" housing. Prices that the waitress, bartender etc, can afford on their salary.

There are tons of shitty houses out there for purchase that have tons of space and are cheap. But they aren't purty. Ppl must have pretty.
